My Moo business cards arrived in the mail this week... WOOHOOO!
I have been looking forward to these for a while now. I was first introduced to Moo a couple of years back when I was still in school. I was graduating from RIT with my design degree at the time and Moo was in my top options of places to order my business cards from. I was attracted to them mainly because of their 100% recycled business cards made from cotton t-shirts cut-offs that are considered waste in the fashion industry. They reuse these cotton scraps that would be going to the trash, and instead repurpose them into gorgeous business cards. Honestly, they are geniuses!
The Card Holder Box Gives It A Nice Touch!
I picked the 50 business cards purchasing option. It is not a big amount of cards, but I knew I wanted to first give it a trial run with a smaller batch before placing a larger order.
The business cards came in this tiny little box (that I am in love with!). This card holder box is also sustainable, made from recycled pulp board. The cardholder box is not just a package to deliver your cards to your house, but you can use it as your cardholder to bring around in your purse. They even included two dividers with the tabs "Mine" and "Their", so as you give our your cards and receive new ones, you can keep them all in this box organized by the dividers.
The Business Cards Review
I am extremely happy with the final product. The business cards are lightweight but tough and durable. There is a nice texture to them, giving it that "recycled material" feel. A great conversation starter, huh?
The graphics came out crisp, clear and centered in the business card. The colors are on point; however, I think I will be darkening them a bit for my next printing round.
Moo's gift to us
When I received my cards, they also shared a lovely gift: 20% off link for you ;] Just use the link to go to Moo's website and the discount will be applied by checkout.
If you are still curious about how they turn cotton t-shirts into paper, watch this wonderful video they created.
